Waverley has served this community for 75 years. Help us build for the next 75.
Waverley is Thunder Bay’s most-visited branch with more than 90,000 visits a year, and counting. For generations, it’s been the place where neighbours find connection, kids discover books, and everyone belongs regardless of background or circumstance.
But the building is aging. The entrance doesn’t meet accessibility standards. There’s no working elevator. And the children’s space is too small for the community that loves it.
That’s changing.
The Waverley Library Campaign will transform this beloved branch, starting with a fully accessible entrance, a new elevator, and an inclusive washroom that should have existed long ago.
And at the heart of it all: the largest children’s library in TBPL’s history. More than 12,000 square feet designed for discovery, play, and learning. A new STEM Lab. Room for programs. Room for wonder. Room to grow.
This is a once-in-a-generation project. Your gift makes it possible.
Give today.
